Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

The short version: Your health data never leaves your device. We do not collect it, store it on servers, or share it with anyone.

What data Nibly stores

Nibly stores the following information locally on your device only:

This data is saved to your device's local storage and, if you have iCloud enabled, may sync privately through your own Apple iCloud account. We never see or touch this data.

What data we do NOT collect

Apple HealthKit

If you choose to connect Nibly to Apple Health, the app can read your height, weight, body fat percentage, date of birth, and biological sex to pre-fill your profile. It can also write weight entries and nutrition data back to Health so everything stays in one place.

HealthKit data is governed by Apple's own privacy framework. Nibly never sends HealthKit data to any external server. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the iOS Settings app under Health → Data Access & Devices.

Camera and Photos

Nibly asks for camera and photo library access so you can photograph your food for logging. Photos you capture are stored only in your food log on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Microphone and Speech Recognition

If you use voice input to log food, your voice is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition. Nibly does not record or store audio.

Notifications

If you enable streak or daily summary reminders, notification scheduling happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to us to deliver these notifications.

Children's Privacy

Nibly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect your contact information, we can't notify you directly — we recommend checking back occasionally.
